 Mr. Ed Bugnion VP Cisco
Ed Bugnion is the Vice President and Chief Technical Officer at Cisco for the
Server Access Virtualization Business Unit. Bugnion joined Cisco with the
acquisition of Nuova Systems, a company that he co-founded in 2005.
Prior to Nuova Systems, Bugnion was the co-founder and Chief Technical Officer
of VMware, where he served from 1998 until 2005. Prior to VMware, Bugnion did
graduate work at Stanford University in the areas of virtualization, simulation, and
computer architecture, and worked at DEC's Western Research Laboratory.
He holds a bachelor's degree in engineering from ETH Zurich and a masters
degree from Stanford University both in Computer Science. |
